Bongani Robusto
The Bongani Robusto is an exquisite cigar that is made entirely by hand in Africa and takes aficionados on a flavourful journey to the heart of the continent. The beautiful Cameroon wrapper is wrapped in carefully selected filler tobaccos from Mozambique and Zimbabwe and promises a medium-bodied, complex smoking experience. With a length of 125 mm and a ring gauge of 52, the Bongani Robusto is perfect for 45 to 60 minutes of smoking pleasure.
From the very first puffs, the Bongani Robusto releases intense flavours of cedar wood, cocoa and coffee, rounded off with earthy and leathery nuances. As the smoke progresses, creamy cream and roasted flavours are added, as well as a fine spiciness that makes the taste more intense. The tobaccos for the Bongani Robusto come mainly from the Mozambican province of Manica and are perfectly complemented by filler tobaccos from Zimbabwe and the Dominican part of the filler. At the factory in Maputo, experienced torcedores, some of whom learnt their trade in the Dominican Republic, carefully roll the cigars by hand. The Bongani Robusto cigars are then stored in boxes made from Ghanaian cedar wood to ensure optimal maturation, which harmoniously rounds off the flavours. The result is a cigar with an excellent draw, perfect burn and a stable ash. The name "Bongani" means "be grateful" and reflects the African zest for life and appreciation of the continent's rich resources.
